Isabelle
has been adopted!
Isabelle arrived at NSWAR a matted and smelly mess.
She had a heavy flea burden, we could feel her backbone and hips through
the extensive matting that covered her tiny body.
Grooming and some unexpected news!
Within an hour of
Isabelle arriving at
Fetching Styles Grooming Salon we received a telephone call
from Sam, our volunteer groomer to say Isabelle had a
very swollen abdomen.
The veterinarian was
immediately summoned, and Isabelle was
heavily pregnant and the birth of her puppies was imminent.
Within hours Isabelle
was giving birth, and
something was very wrong. One puppy appeared to be stuck
in the birth canal and Isabelle required immediate
veterinary assistance.
Isabelle delivered five puppies by caesarian section.
The puppies were very tiny, and sadly two were stillborn.
Within a few hours the remaining puppies died.
Isabelle is now a healthy little girl and is available for adoption.
Animals are our friends, we chose to domesticate them, and
keep them
as pets and companions, and they respond with
selfless endless love.

are ill or
injured, receive the proper care and nutrition they need,
along
with loving rehabilitation and placement into
a loving home.
